- Cut out pendulum and pendulum weight
- Drill hole in pendulum as indicated. Hole should be just large enough for a wire to pass through snugly
- Glue a penny to the pendulum where indicated, using a drop of super glue. Then glue the pendulum weight on top of the penny
- Slide pendulum onto top gear shaft. Be sure to allow plenty of space between the pendulum and the framework. The pendulum should not touch the framework at any point. Align so that when the pendulum is vertical, the rocker is horizontal. This is very important. The bank will not operate properly if the pendulum alignment is off. When the pendulum is positioned correctly, use pliers to put a 90-degree bend in the end of the wire. Then, being careful to maintain the correct positioning of the pendulum, use super glue to glue pendulum to bend in the wire. Let dry. When dry, check the movement of the pendulum. It should swing freely without rubbing against the framework at any point.
